Music In Boise & Original Artists

Moon’s Kitchen over the years has been a community gathering spot.  Moon’s Kitchen was nestled in the back of Moon’s Gun’s and Tackle in the 50’s - 80’s.  Our community would come buy their worms, tackle an hunting gear for some good ‘ole Idaho fun. They would pick up their sandwiches or have breakfast or a Malt and head out just to head back in with their “the one that got away” stories.   An eclectic group has always visited Moon’s from Starving College Students, Fishermen and Women, State Senators and House members to Travelers visiting Boise Downtown.   This has given Moon’s Kitchen a special place in the history of Downtown Boise. 

We are excited to move Moon’s Kitchen into a new era and know the nostalgia of the Gun and Tackle shop is part of history but doesn’t really fit in with Downtown Boise these days.  We want the community back at Moon’s Kitchen and feel
the best way we can support our community is through supporting Idaho’s Original Song Writers, Musicians and Artists.  Whether young or  old,  their artistic and musical talents are really what makes the world a better place to enjoy. 

You can enjoy Boise Music Live every Tuesday from 11a-2p and Saturday and Sunday from 11a-2p.  Support Boise Musicians by coming to listen to them and buy their Originals on CD.  You can view and buy original artwork at Moon’s Kitchen Cafe as well.  We are honored to have the opportunity to expose these original artists to our wider Idaho Community.  Come experience our home grown talent.
