It’s True! Having only moved once before in 1961 we are taking the plunge and Moving Moon’s to a nicer property. After much deliberation regarding renovating the current space; the idea of putting over $70,000 into a building space that has been allowed to become completely run down, didn’t seem like a great idea. With continued and growing vacancies on Bannock between 8th and 9th we were feeling like we were in a losing battle. We recently had confirmation that the Building’s owner had little interest in at least paying to bring the electric and plumbing up to code.  He did still want to continue charging us premium pricing for a deteriorating space. We decided to seek change for the better. We are very lucky that a space just a block away became available. 

We are extremely happy to announce that we will be moving to 712 W Idaho next to Old Chicago. 

We will appreciate your continued support and patronage during this change. Everyone is facing economic challenges and we feel that this move makes a lot of sense. The space is cozy, up to code and has a much bigger kitchen and...ta da...a dishwashing....machine! The new kitchen will allow us to expand our Catering and Corporate Events. 

Yes, we are taking the Counter and Yes, the menu will remain the same and we will continue making our World Famous Shakes!

We will be moving sometime in December. Our dates are not confirmed but right no w the plan is to be occupying the new space before Christmas. We will keep you updated.
